The Ranthambore
National Park is
situated in
eastern
Rajasthan close

Sawai
Madhopur. It was

national park in

Ranthambore Park

the Aravalli and
Vindhya ranges
covering an area
of 1,334
sq km. The
terrain is
rugged and there
are rocky
ridges, hills
and open valleys
with lakes and
pools. On one of
the hills is the
majestic 1,000
year old Ranthambore
Fort.
